THE FRIEZE ICE CREAM CELEBRATES 25 YEARS IN MIAMI BEACH WITH FREE ICE CREAM, COMMUNITY FESTIVAL AND LAUNCH OF PARTNERSHIP WITH MIAMI HEAT STAR CHRIS BOSH

The Frieze Unveils Chris Bosh-Inspired Flavor, the Bosh Frieze Frenzy, to be Sold Year-Round with Proceeds Benefiting Bosh’s Team Tomorrow Inc.

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (September 10, 2012)— On Sunday, September 9^th from 4-6 p.m., The Frieze Ice Cream Factory celebrated 25 years in Miami Beach with a fun-filled festival featuring face painting, an interactive photo booth sponsored by PhotoMingle, raffle prizes and special help from Miami HEAT Star, Chris Bosh, who was behind the counter scooping free ice cream for attendees. After much anticipation, The Frieze unveiled its Chris Bosh-inspired flavor, Bosh Frieze Frenzy, the winning name submitted by Stefany Nicastri via a Twitter contest. Nicastri accepted the grand prize of a basketball signed by Chris Bosh and a $100 Frieze gift card.

Pint size containers of the Bosh Frieze Frenzy, consisting of tasty peanut butter ice cream swirled with The Frieze’s homemade fudge and finally mixed with chocolate chips and peanut pieces, are now available for sale with proceeds benefiting Bosh’s foundation, Team Tomorrow Inc., dedicated to uplifting children and families in the South Florida community through support of community-based organizations. The Frieze has launched a one-year charitable partnership with Team Tomorrow Inc., as Bosh’s flavor will be sold year-round with proceeds going to the foundation.

Other notable guests included Vice-Mayor Jorge Exposito and Commissioner Deede Weithorn from the City of Miami Beach who presented Proclamations to both the The Frieze and Team Tomorrow for their contributions to the community. Chris Bosh and his wife Adrienne had the opportunity to discuss Team Tomorrow’s initiatives and The Frieze owners Lisa, Robert and David Warren, thanked the community for their longstanding support.

About Team Tomorrow:

Founded by NBA Star Chris Bosh in 2010, Team Tomorrow Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting community-based organizations that promote the upliftment of children, families and the community. With a goal to raise awareness and support for children and families in need, Team Tomorrow sponsors projects and community based events while partnering with sponsors, donors, business leaders, outreach programs, celebrities, athletes and nonprofit organizations.

In addition to serving our regular retail and wholesale customers, it has been our great pleasure to host students from a wide variety of local schools. Not only does The Frieze give discounts and special incentives to our visiting local students, but we also do full tours of our ice cream production factory free of charge. This past spring it was our delight to have Second Graders from the Hebrew Academy visit our store for a visit as part of a class project involving math. Ice cream scoops and ingredients were used to help teach correct values of measurement. For the past two summers The Boys and Girls Club of America has paid weekly visits to our store every Friday as part of a movie and ice cream field trip.

As our local community has invested in us, so have we done our best to return that faith and commitment. It has been, and will continue to be, OUR great pleasure to serve the Miami Beach community, it’s families and most especially it’s children. We would not have a future without them!
